Your starting to sound like some Bible thumper now. 'Use a pulley and go straight to hell!'. [ www.antichristpulleys.com ] is now awaiting registration in your name. There's NO emperical evidence either way. Show me 1 person that ONLY did the pulley and had catastrophic engine failure and I'll show you 3 dozen that have it with a ton of mods and no problem. People fall down stairs everyday... but for that one person, there's several thousand that can manage a set of stairs successfully. By percentages it's so slim it's almost non-existant. Now I agree that ANY modification done to a car is going to reduce some other area... like logevity/reliability. Do a search, I've been saying this for years... matter of fact, that might be in the top of the UDP installation page, where I offer a warning on the use of it. Running higher boost can potentially blow things up. Drag racing can potentially blow things up. Modding your car can potentially blow things up. Nixit can potentially blow things up. Get the point? You're getting way over the top on something that just warrants a simple warning... why not get the Surgeon General involved and get stickers stuck on the pullies??? 'Surgeon General Warns: use of this product by performance people will result in certain death of your engine or yourself. Good luck!' Better yet.. lets just ban them. Am I over the top now? Just trying to clear the bar Ash has set for the rest of us. Sheesh.
